Hi
I love lentils very much.Because It has full of nutrition and helps to improve our immunity. This dal makhani dish is a cuisines of the Indian subcontinent, where lentils are a staple, split lentils (often with their hulls removed) known as daal are often cooked into a thick curry that is usually eaten with rice or rotis.
So I make lentils dish often at my home.
Whenever i go to any Indian restaurant and wonder how they make those lentils? I discovered Indian food. Then I scoured the internet to figure out how they achieved them, and through mixing and matching recipes and methods on videos, I've arrived at this recipe from Recipes Of Home ,which I think is pretty close to any indian restaurant. This version is very rich, but you can leave out the cream to make it lighter, but it gives this dish something very special.I go to the store, or usually order to be delivered, and get a container of tomato puree,Lentils,Kidney BeansCream and a few indian spices including cumin seed, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, dried fenugreek.
But this staple goes for 4 members.I guess if I increase amount of tomato puree, lentils and water it would be more, but I feel it would be even looser, and the texture was great on this.I am listening to The Breakfast Club and i love to listen this podcast, so if you go iheart and find something to listen too, do it. Most of the food related ones I listen.
I am so excited to go on vacation to Cancun in August, if I can only afford the plane trip. A friend gave me $200 the other day to help me afford the plane trip and it blew me away. She is so excited to see me go, and I am so grateful.See, I have not and not had a travel section in my budget, so I am trying to do the best I can.And I got a new wrist-let to take to the pool and restaurants there. It is hard to tell, but this covid 19 pandemic changed my life throughly. So that is it for today, I am getting ready to get some more food and watch cooking show for a while.
